Charlotte, NC : Authorities say crash on interstate alcohol related on Saturday night June 14th 2014

The Highway Patrol says a woman is in the hospital after a crash on Interstate 85 near the Freedom Drive exit late Saturday night.
Authorities say she was traveling northbound when she made a hard left turn and hit a wall. According to the Highway Patrol, the driver was impaired on drugs, alcohol or both.
Only one car was involved in the accident. The driver was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
