Nashville, TN : Two people injured after a crash on Highway 70 in Davidson County on Tuesday, March 1, 2016

A driver was airlifted to the hospital after a crash on Highway 70 in Davidson County.

The crash happened at 8501 Highway 70 in Nashville around 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Two pick-up trucks were involved. The driver of the red truck was treated for non-life threatening injuries, and the driver of the green truck was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition.

Police said the driver of the green truck was traveling east on Highway 70 when he side-swiped two vehicles then crashed head-on with the other truck.

The drivers’ identities have not been released. It was unclear what caused the crash.
