CORBIN, KY : Coroner identifies person killed in Corbin crash on Sunday, 19th May 2024

One person is dead after a crash in Corbin.

The Corbin Police Department responded to a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Barton Mill Rd. around 7 p.m. Sunday.

According to police, a person suffered life-threatening injuries and eventually succumbed to their injuries.

The coroner has identified that person as 70-year-old Carey Taylor.

The coroner says Taylor’s motorcycle went off the road and hit a tree.
