Newton, NC : Two people injured in a serious crash in Catawba County on Tuesday morning, March 15, 2016

Two people were hurt in a serious crash in Catawba County Tuesday morning.

The crash happened just before 11 a.m. on River Bend Road, closing the road for a time.

Officials have not said what caused the crash.
