WAYLAND, MO : Woman injured in Sunday morning crash south of Wayland on Sunday, January 1st 2017

An Edwardsville, Ill., woman was injured in a Sunday morning crash south of Wayland.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2015 Chrysler 200 driven by Alyana K. Watson, 23, of Edwardsville, was southbound on U.S. 61, 6 miles south of Wayland, at 6:47 a.m. The patrol said the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.

Watson, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Clark County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., with moderate injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Clark County Sheriff's Department, Clark County Fire and Clark County Ambulance.
