EUSTIS, FL : Motorcyclist injured in Eustis crash on April, Friday 14th 2017

A motorcyclist was in critical condition after driving into a curb Friday afternoon, according to police.

The 57-year-old motorist was flown to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

His identity has not been released.

The crash occurred sometime after 1 p.m. According to Eustis police detective Jim Franquiz, the biker was riding northbound on U.S. Highway 441 in Eustis and when he tried to exit onto State Road 19, he missed his exit.

He tried to maneuver the bike to take another exit, but ended up striking a curb.

Franquiz said it is unclear if he was wearing a helmet.
