ANSONIA, CT : Motorcycle accident on Main Street was fatal at the intersection of Main, East Main, State and North Main streets on Sunday, 29th November, 2020

Officers are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident on Main Street.

Ansonia police Lt. Patrick Lynch said the accident occurred at the intersection of Main, East Main, State and North Main streets on Sunday evening at approximately 7 p.m.. He said police were called about a person lying in the street.“Officers located a male in the road at the intersection seriously injured. A short distance away on North Main Street a motorcycle with heavy damage was located on its side,” Lynch said.

Video footage from the area confirmed the male in the road was the operator of the motorcycle, he said, and the accident involved only the motorcycle and no other vehicles.
