Mound City, KS :I-29 crash at Mound City injures 2 on Thursday, July 9th 2015

Two people are seriously hurt after a two vehicle accident in Holt County on Thursday.According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 54-year-old Marion Collins of Kansas City was headed south on Interstate 29, one mile south of Mound City around 7 a.m. Collins entered a construction work zone on I-29 and struck the rear end of a vehicle, which was traveling at a slow rate of speed, driven by 50-year-old Darin Meyer of Mound City. Both vehicles went off the west side of the road and came to a stop.Collins and Meyer were taken by Atchison-Holt Ambulance to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with serious injuries.
