SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC : 5 dead, fiery crash on I-26 with car hauler on Saturday, 24th February 2024

The South Carolina Department of Public Safety (SCDPS) says five people died Saturday night during a crash involving three vehicles in Spartanburg County.
According to SCDPS, the crash happened just before 9:30 p.m. along I-26 near mile marker 12, which is SC 292.
It all started when a commercial vehicle car hauler was traveling west and struck the rear end of a 2022 Toyota sedan, officials say. Video shows the car hauler can carry multiple cars.
The driver of the Toyota was the only person in the car and was not injured.
