Westwood,OH : One dead, another in hospital following Westwood shooting on January, Tuesday 23rd 2018

One person is dead and another is in facing life-threatening injuries after a shooting in Westwood Tuesday night, police said.

Cincinnati Police responded to the 2400 block of Westwood Northern Blvd. for a report of a shooting at 9:17 p.m.

Officers said they found two victims who had been shot. Both were transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center with life-threatening injuries where one died, CPD Cpt. Dennis Swingley said.

The Cincinnati Police homicide unit has been called to investigate.

The identity of the deceased has not been released.
