Portland ,OR : 54- Years old Christine Harbacheck seriously injured after hit by car along Highway 213 on Monday ,May 18th 2015

A woman was seriously hurt after being hit by a car Monday on Highway 213 near 82 Avenue just south of Johnson Creek Boulevard, according to Oregon State Police.

Christine Harbacheck, 54, of Portland, was hit by a 2013 Lexus driven by 43-year-old Justin Vu, also of Portland, while she was crossing the street in a crosswalk, police said.

Harbacheck was taken to Oregon Health & Sciences University with a possible head injury. She is in serious condition.

Vu was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, police said.
