Boston, MA : Boston motorcyclist killed after rear-end crash with pickup truck in Carlisle Wednesday November 4 2015
Carlisle police say they’re investigating a Wednesday afternoon crash that killed a 69-year-old Boston motocyclist.
James P. McMahon, of Readville, died after he crashed into the rear of a Chevrolet pickup truck being driven by a Carlisle man at the intersection of Lowell and North Road around 4:30 p.m.
Police say a “preliminary investigation indicates” the 22-year-old truck driver put on his blinker to make a left turn at the intersection, and when he slowed to make the turn, McMahon crashed into the rear of the truck.
