MILWAUKEE, WI : Officers hurt after driver crashes into squad car on Milwaukee on Friday, 29th March 2019

Two Milwaukee police officers are hurt after authorities say a driver ran through a stop sign and crashed into their squad car near the intersection of S. Muskego Avenue and W. Rogers Street Friday morning.

Police and EMS responded to the scene of the crash around 2:25 a.m. It appeared the impact sent the police car careening into a light pole, which then collapsed onto the hood of their car.The two officers inside, one with six years experience with the department and the other with five, suffered non-life threatening injuries and went to the hospital for treatment.
