JAVA, NY : Milk truck crashes in Java on Wednesday, September 20th 2017

Route 98 remains closed after a milk truck skidded through the intersection of Beaver Meadow Road and crashed down an embankment into a corn field this morning.
The crash happened about 11:15 a.m. The driver of the truck has been transported to the Erie County Medical Center via Mercy Flight with unknown injuries.
The crash happened about a half mile from where Senator Charles Schumer was conducting a press conference on programs for farm safety. Schumer was at Lamb & Webster farm equipment dealer on Route 98 at the time of the crash.
