CHARLESTON, SC : One hospitalized after reported auto-pedestrian crash on Folly Road on Thursday, 4th July 2019

Charleston police say a pedestrian has life-threatening injuries following a crash with a car on Folly Road Thursday night and authorities are now looking for the vehicle involved.
He was crossing Folly Road east near Battery Island Drive around 11:30 p.m. when a car described as a silver sedan hit him and left the scene. The man is now at MUSC in serious condition.
Police say the sedan will likely have damage on the front bumper, hood, and windshield. The driver was last seen going north on Folly Road away from Folly Beach.
