Milwaukee, WI : 32-year-old bicyclist seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle near S. 6th St. and W. Ohio Ave., early Wednesday, Nov 4, 2015

A 32-year-old bicyclist was seriously hurt after being hit by a vehicle early Wednesday on the south side.

The crash happened around 3:40 a.m. near S. 6th St. and W. Ohio Ave. The bicyclist, a Milwaukee man, was riding when he was hit by a 33-year-old Milwaukee man driving a Toyota Corolla on southbound S. 6th St.

The bicyclist was taken to a hospital. More details about his condition were not available Wednesday afternoon. Police say the driver stayed on scene. The investigation is ongoing.
