CHESAPEAKE, VA : 1 killed in I-64 crash involving motorcycle on Saturday, 1st June 2024

One person is dead following a crash involving a motorcycle on Interstate 64 early Saturday morning, according to Virginia State Police (VSP).

The two-vehicle crash happened in the eastbound lanes near mile marker 286 just after 2:40 a.m. There's no word on what led up to the collision.

VSP said at least one person died in the crash but did not identify the victim.
