A Winston-Salem man was killed in a crash involving a vehicle and two motorcycles in Davidson County on Wednesday.
The victim was identified as Clyde William Tate III, 21, of Winston-Salem, Trooper Ned Moultrie of the N.C. Highway Patrol said.
The wreck occurred about 8:45 p.m. on N.C. 109 near Ledford High School.
Sgt. S.M. Comer with the highway patrol said Tate was one of two motorcyclists traveling south on N.C. 109. Tate’s motorcycle crossed the center line and hit a vehicle head-on.
The driver of the car suffered minor injuries and was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
