SEQUIM, WA : Driver leaves scene after collision with pole knocks out power on Monday, 16th November, 2020

An alleged hit-and-run collision with a utility pole knocked out power to a neighborhood west of Sequim for about six hours into Monday morning.

A driver of a 2013 Chevy Suburban left the roadway while going east on U.S. Highway 101 at about 11 p.m. Sunday at the intersection with Kitchen-Dick Road at milepost 260, according to a State Patrol report.

The Suburban hit a pole and came to rest off the road, the report said.
