Farmoingdale ,NY : One killed and Five others injured in Two-car crash on Wantagh State Parkway Saturday night ,August 15th 2015

State police are investigating a two-car accident on the Wantagh State Parkway that claimed the life of a Long Island driver.

They say Elisabeth Cutrone died after a pickup truck rammed into her Jeep shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday while making a U-turn north of the Jones Beach toll plaza.

The 51-year-old Cutrone was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

A passenger in her car was treated for a fractured hip.

The Ford driver and four passengers in his car suffered minor injuries.
