Star, ID : 56-year-old Thomas Paul Allsopp died in a crash on Saturday, Sep 19, 2015

The Ada County Coroner's Office has identified the man killed in a weekend crash near Star.

The coroner says 56-year-old Thomas Paul Allsopp of Middleton died of blunt force trauma due to the crash.

The sheriff's office says Allsopp was killed Saturday afternoon when his car hit a pickup head-on, west of the intersection of Idaho 16 and Highway 44.

The driver of the other vehicle, a man in his 60's, went to the hospital, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The investigation into the crash is on-going.
