GREENVILLE, OH :Victim identified in fatal Darke County crash on July, Sunday 2nd 2017

An Arcanum woman is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Greenville.

The crash happened just after 2:30 a.m. on Sunday morning at the intersection of U.S. 127 and Hogpath Road.

The Darke County Sheriff’s Office says 27-year-old Kristen N. Lee was driving west on Hogpath Road. Authorities say Lee failed to stop at a stop sign.

Lee’s car entered the southbound lane of U.S. 127, where it was hit by a pickup truck. Both vehicles ran off the road.

Authorities say Lee’s car hit a utility pole and some trees. The truck flipped onto its side.

Lee was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck suffered minor injuries and refused treatment.

The accident is under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office and the Darke County Coroner’s Office.
