Milwaukee, WI : One person died in fatal crash interstate-94 Milwaukee County on Monday January 4 2016.

One person died in a Monday morning crash on I-94 near College Ave. in Milwaukee that blocked multiple eastbound lanes for hours.
The crash occurred around 2 a.m., according to alerts from the state Department of Transporation. The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office responded.
The three right lanes were closed for much of the morning, but the DOT reported just past 7:30 a.m. that the scene had been cleared.
A Milwaukee fire official confirmed that one person died in the crash, and WITI-TV cited the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office as saying it involved a semitrailer truck hitting a pickup truck, with the person who died being in the pickup.
The cause and other details of the crash weren't immediately known, but fire officials said it appeared the semi rear-ended the other vehicle.
