An Indiana man was killed and four people were injured in a crash in Charlotte County on Monday afternoon.
Thomas Holloman, 77, of Yorktown, Indiana, was driving a 2000 Cadillac Deville west on Washington Loop Road in the left turn lane, east of U.S. 17. When he attempted to make a left turn onto southbound U.S. 17, the Cadillac collided with 2002 Dodge Ram pickup driven by Jose Martin Gaspar Matias, 62, of Fort Myers.
Holloman was pronounced dead at the scene. Three passengers in his car were injured.
Sui Holloman, 78, of Yorktown, Indiana, was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers with serious injuries.
Linda Hee, 86, of Inverness was taken to Bayfront Punta Gorda with serious injuries.
Frederick Myers, 81, of Inverness was taken to Bayfront Punta Gorda with minor injuries.
Matias, the driver of the pickup, was taken to Bayfront Punta Gorda with minor injuries.
