Springer, NM : A 24-year-old California man was killed another was injured in a crash at I-25 On Saturday, July 9th, 2016

A 24-year-old California man was killed when his car drifted off Interstate 25 and flipped several times Saturday afternoon north of Springer in Colfax County, police said.
Mark Lemesany of Lakeside, California, was pronounced dead at the scene on I-25 south near mile marker 423 after crashing at 12:45 p.m., according to the New Mexico State Police.

Isabella Yengst, 19, of Santee, California, was taken to Miner Colfax Medical Center with severe injuries. She was later airlifted to University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque, where she was listed in critical condition.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
