College Station, TX: 21-year-old man in ICU Following Motorcycle Crash along Highway 6 on Monday, August 3rd 2015`

A 21-year-old man from Madisonville is in the intensive care unit following a motorcycle accident on State Highway 6, Monday evening.Police said the driver of the motorcycle was traveling southbound on SH 6, near Southwest Parkway, when he left the road and crashed in the grassy median. The cause of the accident is unknown at this time.The driver of the motorcycle was transported to the College Station Medical Center for treatment; he suffered incapacitating injuries.The inside southbound lane of Earl Rudder Freeway was temporarily closed while emergency personnel and wrecker services removed the vehicle from the median and investigators conducted their investigation.
