An Illinois State Police sergeant was injured in a two-car accident Friday in Moline.
The unidentified officer was in a 2014 Chevrolet Impala squad car at 4th Avenue and 19th Street, Moline, at 10:16 p.m., an ISP District 7 news release said. The officer's vehicle collided with a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country.
The Chrysler's driver was identified as David J. Legg, 63, Ely, the news release said.
Mr. Legg refused medical treatment. The sergeant was transported to UnityPoint Health-Trinity Rock Island with nonlife-threatening injuries.
Mr. Legg was ticketed for disobeying a traffic control signal, according to the news release.
