Scottsmoor ,FL : Car carrier crashes, ignites on Interstate 95 in Brevard County on Thursday afternoon ,June 18th 2015

A car transporter crashed and caught fire Thursday afternoon on Interstate 95 in Brevard County, forcing officials to close the roadway.

No one was injured in the crash, which occurred around 2:30 p.m. on I-95 north at mile marker 231 near Scottsmoor.

I-95 north was closed at County Road 5A, but later reopened.

Video from traffic cameras showed flames and heavy black smoke coming from the truck, with emergency vehicles nearby.

Details about the crash were not immediately known.
