TWIN MOUNTAIN, NH : Police in New Hampshire are investigating a crash on Tuesday, July 4, 2017

Police in New Hampshire are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist and injured his passenger.

WMUR-TV reports the crash happened in Twin Mountain Tuesday morning. Officials say the driver of a pickup truck was making a left turn on U.S. Route 302 when a motorcycle crashed into the back of the truck.

Authorities say the motorcyclist died from injuries suffered in the crash. A passenger on the motorcycle was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.

An investigation is ongoing.
