Olympia, WA : Woman killed in crash near Rainier identified on Monday, 19th March 2018

A woman died Monday evening after a two-vehicle collision near Rainier at Plum Nelly Lane Southeast and Vail Cut Off Road Southeast, according to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.

The woman was identified as Stephanie J. Roberts, 29, of Rainier, Thurston County Coroner Gary Warnock said Tuesday.

A preliminary investigation shows that the woman, who was driving a gray sedan, crossed the center line and crashed into a pickup truck about 5 p.m. The man driving the truck was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
