NASHVILLE, TN : 2 flown to hospital after serious crash in Clarksville on Friday, 2nd February 2024

Two people were flown to a Nashville hospital following a serious crash in Clarksville Friday morning.

Clarksville police said the crash on Interstate 24 involved a vehicle and a semi-tractor trailer. The crash occurred at about 9:48 a.m. and the eastbound lanes were completely shut down near Mile Marker 8.

“Motorists are able to take the Exit 8 offramp and then proceed across Rossview Rd. and back onto I-24 East, but traffic is moving slowly. Motorists traveling eastbound on I-24 are advised to find an alternate route or expect to be delayed,” CPD said.

Police added that the status of the injuries is unknown, but two occupants of the vehicle involved were flown to a Nashville hospital for treatment.
