PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, VA : Chatham man killed in crash on Franklin Turnpike on Wednesday, 17th July 2024

Virginia State Police have released the name of a man killed in a crash Wednesday afternoon.

Joseph Patrick Miheve, 75 of Chatham died after being taken to a hospital.

Police say the crash occurred July 17 at 12:50 p.m. on Franklin Turnpike, four tenths of a mile south of Callands Road in Pittsylvania County.

Miheve was driving a Toyota Tundra southbound when he ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected and overturned, according to police.
