Southeast Fort Collins, CO : Juveniles suffer life-threatening injuries in crash at the intersection of Carpenter Road and South County Road 9 on Thursday, 22nd August 2019

Two children suffered life-threatening injuries Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in southeast Fort Collins.

Fort Collins police were notified of the crash at 1:43 p.m. at the intersection of Carpenter Road and South County Road 9 in Fort Collins. That is just east of Duck Lake, south of Fossil Creek Reservoir and west of Interstate 25.

Elvis Guerrero, 33, was driving a 2002 Ford F-350 pickup and pulling a trailer eastbound on Carpenter Road when a 1998 Ford Explorer, driven by Tiffany Burke, 27, turned left from southbound South County Road 9 in front of the truck.
