Orlando, FL : Driver died after crashing onto the guardrail on State Road 528 on early Monday morning August 11th 2014

A driver died after crashing on State Road 528 near State Road 407 early Monday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. All the westbound lanes on S.R. 528 were closed east of S.R. 407 for a few hours. The lanes reopened just before 8 a.m. Troopers say the 24-year-old victim and his passenger swerved onto the shoulder and then crashed onto the guardrail. Both the driver and the passenger were ejected from the vehicle, troopers said. Troopers say the driver was struck by two oncoming cars, but only one of them stopped after the crash. It is unknown why the victim lost control of the vehicle. Troopers did not release the victim’s name or the identity of the driver who fled. No further information was immediately available.
