Two people were killed and another was seriously injured in a crash on I-71 early Wednesday.

Kentucky State Police were dispatched for a single-vehicle crash on I-71 northbound at 1:58 a.m. Troopers found the vehicle, which was driver by 21-year-old Rebecca Horsley, of Columbus, Ohio, overturned off the right side of the road.

Ashton Hepburn, 19, of New Carlisle, Ohio and Nikki Vicory, 29, of Lakeview, Ohio were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the vehicle, troopers said.

The Carroll County Coroner declared Hepburn and Vicory dead at the scene.

Horsley was driven to Carroll County Hospital and then flown to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
