Chattanooga, TN : Investigators seek witness to fatal ATV accident on Wednesday August 31,2016

There may have been a witness to the ATV crash that claimed the life of a juvenile Wednesday, according to Hamilton County Sheriff's Office traffic investigators. The accident occurred off the 400 block of Boy Scout Road.

The witness is described as being a white male driving a gold color dually truck. A juvenile died after an all-terrain vehicle accident Wednesday night off Boy Scout Road, according to a Hamilton County Sheriff's Office news release.

Deputies responded to the 400 block of Boy Scout Road about 6:30 p.m. on the report of an ATV accident. The preliminary investigation showed that a juvenile operating an ATV drove off Boy Scout Road and wrecked in a yard/field. It appears the ATV may have rolled.

The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition and died later that night as a result of injuries incurred in the crash.

Hamilton County Sheriff's Office traffic investigators are investigating the incident. Details are limited because the victim is a juvenile.
