Two men are dead after a crane accident on a marine dock off the T&T Marine Offshore on Pelican Island.
Galveston police, firefighters and county EMS swarmed the 2915 Todd Road facility just before 10:45 a.m. Wednesday in response to a 911 call reporting two men injured in an industrial mishap.
When crews arrived, they found both men already dead. Footage of the scene showed a tipped-over crane surrounded by fluids.
"The investigation is ongoing," city of Galveston spokeswoman Jaree Fortin said in a statement. "However, no foul play is suspected at this time."
The victims' names have not yet been released, pending family notification.
T&T did not immediately respond to a request for comment, and it was not immediately clear whether they owned the dock or the crane.
