Three men were transported to local hospitals following a three-car chain reaction accident Wednesday morning.

Union Township police said that Ralph Bathurst, 76, was traveling eastbound on the Benjamin Franklin Highway (Route 422) in Union Township at 8:16 a.m. and was turning left onto Old Pulaski Road.

He was struck from behind by Tyran Block, 27, of Youngstown, Ohio who was then struck from behind by Tommy Butler, 26, of Campbell, Ohio.

Police said none of the men's injuries were life-threatening.
