Aurora, CO : Ambulance and car collision injures 2 near RTD light-rail tracks in Aurora on Tuesday, 29th January 2019

A gray SUV ran a red light and slammed into the side of an ambulance early Tuesday morning, pushing the ambulance into signs near light rail tracks at Peoria Street and East 30th Avenue in Aurora, police say.

Two people inside the SUV were taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, said Sgt. Mark Elliot, spokesman for the Aurora Police Department. The names and genders of the victims have not been released.
