Police have released new details about a deadly crash in Malone, New York.

The three-car crash shut down Route 11 for more than six hours Wednesday afternoon.

Police now say Susan Cogan, 45, of Malone, was killed in the crash. They say she was passing several vehicles, hit the passenger side of an oncoming car that swerved, and then collided head-on with another car. Two other drivers were hurt and a 2-year-old in one of the other cars suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
