Jacksonville, FL : 5 dead, 3 injured in Flagler County crash on Sunday, February 5th 2017

Five people died and three others were injured in a Flagler County crash Sunday, the Florida Highway Patrol said.


The crash occurred along U.S. 1 at the Old Dixie Highway just north of Bunnell shortly before noon.

FHP said that five people were confirmed dead, while three others were transported to hospitals with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police closed both northbound and southbound lanes of the highway as a result of the crash.
