Elkridge ,MD :64-year-old Gregory Trout killed after he turned into the path of a sport-utility vehicle on Saturday afternoon, August 8th 2015

Police say a motorcyclist was killed when he turned into the path of a sport-utility vehicle.

Howard County police say the crash occurred Saturday afternoon in Elkridge.

Police say 64-year-old Gregory Trout of Jessup was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Police say Trout turned right into the southbound lanes of Washington Boulevard and failed to yield to the SUV.

Trout was struck and was taken to a hospital, where he died. The other driver wasn't injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
