POST FALLS, ID : 23-year-old man dies in Post Falls crash on Friday, October, 6th 2017

A 23-year-old man died when the car he was traveling in shot off the road and struck a boulder in Post Falls, Idaho.

The Spokesman Review reports (http://bit.ly/2ywx3pd ) that Patrick Sparr and Derrick Starke, also 23, were driving in a black BMW heading east on Fourth Avenue at about 2 a.m. Friday.

The Idaho State Police says the vehicle was traveling at a "high rate of speed," went off the right shoulder and struck a boulder.

Police say it wasn't immediately clear who was driving the vehicle.

Sparr was pronounced dead on the scene. Starke was treated for minor injuries. Neither was wearing seat belts.
