Ascutney,VT : Area resident dies in Vermont crash on November, Tuesday 14th 2017

A Winchester resident died Tuesday after being involved in a single-vehicle crash in Ascutney, Vt., according to Vermont State Police.

Matthew J. Calder, 31, was driving a 2013 Nissan Altima south in the left/passing lane of Interstate 91, when the car gradually shifted left and hit the guardrail, police said in a news release Tuesday night. The Nissan continued south, into the median, and then down an embankment before stopping in a section of trees, according to police.
