ROCHESTER, NY : Four people injured, one driver cited in tow vehicles crash on Tuesday afternoon July 15th 2014
Four people were injured and the driver of one of two vehicles involved in a collision Tuesday afternoon was charged with negligent driving.
At 3:25 p.m. Rochester Police, Fire and Frisbie EMS responded to the intersection of Rochester Hill Road and Airport Drive for a reported two-vehicle accident with injury.
Officers learned that Jennifer Temple, 34 of Berwick, Maine, was operating a Honda Pilot southbound on Rochester Hill Road and had stopped at the intersection for a red traffic light. While she was stopped, her vehicle was struck from behind by a Toyota Matrix operated by Robert Caplette, 68, of Somersworth.
Caplette and two adult occupants in his vehicle were transported to Frisbie Hospital by Frisbie EMS.
Jennifer Temple did respond to the hospital, but did not use the ambulance services.
All involved in the accident suffered injuries that were not life threatening.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
