ENFIELD, MA : 22-year-old Springfield woman fatally injured in Enfield crash on Monday, December 19th 2016

A 22-year-old Springfield woman was killed Monday afternoon when the vehicle she was riding in vaulted off a bridge on Interstate 91 and landed on the road below.

Enfield Patch, citing state police reports, identified the victim as Marie Parks of Springfield.

The crash was reported shortly after 2 p.m. Monday in the area of Exit 46-47,
according to Western Mass News.

Police said the crash occurred as 32-year-old Windsor resident John Gallucci drive a Jeep Wrangler north on Interstate 91 in the area of Exit 46-47. For unknown reasons Gallucci lost control and crossed all three travel lanes before hitting a barrier.

The Jeep landed some 20 feet below on Oliver Road.

Parks died at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Western Mass News reported.
