Emporia, KS : A pair of injury accident on May, Wednesday, 17th 2017

A pair of injury accidents were reported just minutes apart Wednesday afternoon.

At 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, scanner traffic indicated an injury accident involving two vehicles at the intersection of West Ninth Avenue and Sunnyslope Street. Dispatch indicated a juvenile passenger in one of the vehicles was complaining of head pain.

When responders arrived, they found two vehicles with moderate damage.

Less than 10 minutes later, a second accident was reported at the intersection of West Seventh Avenue and Rural Street. This accident was also said to involve two vehicles and one patient appeared to be cut. Everyone was awake, breathing and alert.
