Richmond, VI : Alcohol a factor in single vehicle crash that briefly closed Henrico road on April, sunday 16th 2017

Creighton Road in Henrico County was closed for several hours Sunday morning following a single vehicle crash.

A driver crashed into a power pole after running off Creighton Road around 2 a.m. Sunday.

The driver, an adult male, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Henrico police.

Police say alcohol was a factor in the crash. The driver hasn't been charged, police said, but the investigation is ongoing. Creighton Road was closed from around 2 - 8 a.m. Sunday.
