Town 'N Country ,FL : David John Brockert, 59 dies from injuries sustained in crash on Wednesday night ,July 1st 2016

A motorcyclist died from injuries sustained when he was hit by a car pulling out of a private driveway in Town 'N Country on Wednesday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

David John Brockert, 59, of Homosassa was been riding a motorcycle on W Hillsborough Avenue approaching Town 'N Country Boulevard just after 10 p.m.

Ileana Echavarria, 46, pulled out of a driveway at 8001 W Hillsborough Ave., crossed into Brockert's path and hit the front of his bike, according to the Highway Patrol. Brockert was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, where he died on Thursday.

He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Charges are pending.
