WHITMAN COUNTY, WA : 19-year-old killed in crash on SR 128 near Clarkston on Wednesday, 21st June 2023

Washington State Patrol says a 19-year-old woman was killed in a car crash on State Route 128 on Wednesday, June 21.

WSP says the crash happened at around 8:30 p.m. Police confirm that 19-year-old Sage M. Jones was driving westbound on the highway when he went off the road at milepost 1 and drove into the westbound ditch. He was taken to a hospital with critical injuries. The 19-year-old woman was a passenger in the car and she was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name will be released when next of kin is notified.
